Éloïse Gagnon, LL.B. LL.M. Fisc. holds the position of Vice President, legal and fiscal affairs for CGE business entities, such as: CGE Communication Group, CGE Capital Inc., CGE Resources L.P. 2008 and Avantages CGE Inc. She is also the founder and president of MEG Capital Inc. She joined CGE in July 2006. Mrs. Gagnon worked as a law clerk, tax attorney, at De Grandpré Chait law firm before joining Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. She completed a bachelor’s degree in law (2002) at Sherbrooke University and was then admitted to the Barreau du Québec (2005). She holds a master’s degree from HEC in Tax Law (2005).

Alexandre Massie, CMA
Vice President Finance and Administration

Alexandre Massie is Vice President Finance and Administration at CGE Capital Inc. and CGE General Partner 2008 Inc. He is responsible for activities such as due diligence, financing and financial strategy. Furthermore, he looks after the management of overall administrative activities and resources of CGE’s corporate entities.  Mr. Massie is a certified management accountant (CMA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ottawa University with a specialization in accounting. He has several years of experience in accounting valuation, planning, financial management and negotiation. Before joining CGE, he worked as a controller for C.A. Paradis and Knowledge Circle Learning Services in Ottawa. 

Sophie Desmarais
Administrative assistant

Sophie Desmarais is in charge of coordination and transmission to the middlemen of the legal forms and documents required for an investment in CGE Resources Limited Partnership 2008. She keeps a tight and up to date registry of underwriters and direct marketers. Mrs. Desmarais is your first contact when calling our office. With a warm smile in her voice, she will gladly answer your questions or transfer your call to the right person so your questions and requests will never go unanswered.
